Harvey Walsh’s Scam
Dear reader,
Since march 2007, I been watching video’s on Youtube, made by a guy called Harvey Walsh. Like most people, I was amazed how Harvey Walsh made thousands of dollars a day, in just a couple of hours of trading. Naturally my curiosity led me to Harvey Walsh’s website daytradingfreedom.com and I decided to subscribe to his free report. Days later I started to regret that decision because my mailbox received all kinds of unsolicited adverts of vendors trying to sell me software, subscriptions or other products. The methods used by these vendors were very annoying and most of all very pushy. One vendor, selling some sort of super trade platform, invited me to a live web seminar. They demonstrated the platform while constantly trying to persuade me in buying it for a bargain price. They told me they had only a hundred copies made, so I had to be quick or I would not be able to buy it at all. “If the platform is that good, why not make a thousand copies?” After that legitimate question, I was abruptly disconnected. This made me question something else.
Was I lured in some kind of web ring of scammers?
This question needed to be answered and so I went on my quest to find more about Harvey Walsh. My suspicions became more solid after seeing “The Tradeshow”, promoted in Walsh’s “free report”. It didn’t take long for me to find out that Harvey Walsh isn’t Harvey Walsh at all. Harvey Walsh is a fictional character created by the host of “the tradeshow”, Henry Eldridge-Doyle.
Mr. Doyle is also known for a trade simulation program called TSim+, vigorously promoted by Harvey Walsh in some of his replies to viewers of his Youtube channel. Henry Eldridge-Doyle in turn replied on the daytradingfreedom.com as a very satisfied customer. After 2 minutes or so in the second video, Henry Doyle starts his promotion of a course of non other than, Harvey Walsh!
Searching the net, it has become clear that Henry Eldridge-Doyle is in fact a Internet Marketeer. He’s the entrepreneur behind e.g. keyword-toolkit.com where he’s trying to sell software that’s “useful” for Marketing the Internet. Probably for years, Henry Eldridge-Doyle is dreaming of becoming the next Internet millionaire, but didn’t have the right angle to make his dreams come true. This made him step into a totally different business that has for centuries been synonymous with the world of swindling. Better known as para-normal schemes of Tarot, Astrology and Numerology. Henry E. Doyle knew this to be true and this is why not Henry Eldridge-Doyle is behind these businesses, but a newly created fictional character called James Steem. This character was created to host the “wonderful” video’s on Tarotbyvideo.com and Powernumerology.com.
After some time, Henry E. Doyle probably realized that these businesses were not the money-printing machines he had hoped for. Although the world is filled with morons, stupid enough to believe in the fortune-telling capabilities “guru” James Steem using Tarot, Astrology and Numerology, Doyle was struggling, selling this load of crap. He switch tactics and introduced a competition and the “Buy-now-for-bargain-price” and “there’s-only-a-limited-number-of-copies” tactics, like the software vendor described above. Yes, Henry Eldridge-Doyle aka James Steem was gradually maturing into a real professional scammer.
But scamming the naive, mentally unstable and weak, was not enough to get him the riches he craves. If you want to make real money, you have to follow the money and so Henry Eldridge-Doyle figured out a way to get into the business of investments. The stock market has a lot of similarities with the scamming businesses Henry E. Doyle was already running. There’s nothing more important for an investor then being able to tell what the future holds. Also, a lot of investors seek a mentor or guru, showing them the way to fabulous riches. Henry E. Doyle saw himself shooting fish in a barrel. But again, not Henry E. Doyle was going to run that show. He again created a fictional character and so “Harvey Walsh” was born. This time Henry E. Doyle was not going to show Harvey Walsh’s face, because he already had done so as “guru” James Steem and “show master” Henry E. Doyle! He thinks no one is smart enough to put Steem and Doyle together, but since he had big plans with “Harvey Walsh”, he wasn’t willing to take the risk.
You’ve probably seen Harvey Walsh trade in his video on Youtube, but have you noticed his voice? Having heard Henry Eldridge-Doyle aka James Steem in the video’s, do you notice that these voices have many similarities? Clearly Harvey Walsh’s voice has been altered. Henry Eldrigde-Doyle is trying to mask his true identity by lowering his voice’s pitch with some sort of software. I’ve taken the audio of the James Steem video and lowered the pitch just a little and you can hear Harvey Walsh. Then I took the the audio of Harvey Walsh’s video, recorded on 26 june 2008. We can clearly hear James Steem aka Henry Eldridge-Doyle.

Harvey Walsh is not a real trader. Seeing the proof so far, he’s clearly a scammer. He doesn’t know a lot or anything about trading. This is why he filters replies of his Youtube video’s. If you question his abilities or his shitty course, he will not post your reply. So, what’s a trader worth if he can not even defend his strategies and talents against other traders with some criticism? If you ask Harvey Walsh about his method he’s using, he will always tell you to buy his course. It’s clear that he only wants to sell you his crap and nothing more. Take for instance if you ask him how much money he has for trading the way he does, he simply says that that’s not important. In fact, the size of your trading capital is extremly important, because it shows you how much risk you can or can not take on any given trade. Looking at the video’s, it’s obvious he has to have at least a couple hundred thousands. Going long on a thousand Apple shares for $180 and some more on others, you would need quite a big bank roll, which I seriously doubt he has or ever will have. He also advices his viewers not to go to any trading forums, scaring you that these are full of scammers, trying to take your money. The real reason is that many forums know Harvey Walsh and know he’s showing crap in his video’s. On Trade2Win some members have already found out the truth behind Harvey Walsh and his scamming website daytradingfreedom.com. Even more surprising, Henry Eldridge-Doyle aka Harvey Walsh, has been a member on that forum since 2001!
More proof of Henry E. Doyle and Harvey Walsh being one and the same person is seen in the signatures on James Steem and Harvey Walsh.
Seeing the animation (click the image) it is clear that the similarities of some letter is striking. Especially the “s”, looks exactly the same and is like a ship anchor.
I’m sorry to bust the bubble for those who thought this would be an easy way to get rich. The one who’s getting rich is not you, but Harvey Walsh aka Henry E. Doyle. The video’s tell you nothing! Ever asked if maybe he’s not trading real money at all, but just paper money. He doesn’t show you the risk/reward taking a trade. He only shows you what you want to see. He preys on your weaknesses and make you believe that trading stock is a guaranteed money-printing machine for all. Especially if you listen to Harvey and buy his crap. He tries to win your confidence by feeding you the dreams you crave and than stick it to you with a booklet and DVD’s that doesn’t have any value. Search the net and read the forums and you’ll see that many customers of Harvey Walsh’s daytradingfreedom.com are not satisfied at all. Many tried to get their money back, since Harvey Walsh’s has “Iron Cast Guarantee” money back service. They’re still waiting and will be waiting until hell freezes over! They have been scammed and simply lost their money to this peace of shit.
As of today, Henry Eldridge-Doyle has changed most websites he is running. He got wind of the fact that he has been found out. He’s trying to save his business of scamming people, by covering his tracks. Luckily, I’ve been saving the video’s since the beginning.

I also tried to find the real identity behind all the domains, run by either Harvey Walsh, James Steem or Henry E. Doyle. But every single time the real name behind them is hidden. The site WhoisGuard provides a service that hides the real identity for domains. This type of service is mostly used by vendors that do questionable businesses. Why would some one like Harvey, James or Henry need such a service?

So where is Harvey Walsh or Henry Eldridge-Doyle now? In his video of 26 june 2008, he says he and Miss’s Walsh has come all the way from “the States” to come watch Wimbeldon with some friends. I’m sure there isn’t a Miss’s Walsh either. There simply could not be a Miss’s, since Harvey Walsh doesn’t exist at all. Maybe there’s a Miss’s Doyle, but I seriously doubt that as well since his has the looks and charm of a devious little scamming rat. Clearly he’s from Great Britain, but I know he doesn’t life there anymore. His website daytradingfreedom.com leads to a company called SARL Beige Media, located at 87300 Berneuil, France. The sites tarotbyvideo.com, powernumerology.com and keyword-toolkit.com also lead to this address, which is too much of a coincidence to me and proves again that all these characters are the same, called Henry E. Doyle. Why then, does he want us to believe that he’s living in the United States? Is married? Wants a huge LCD screen? Again he tries to lure you into his lies by telling he’s just a normal guy like you and I, hoping to win your confidence and trust. His whole life is one big fat fucking lie. But who cares? I sure as hell don’t! He’s simply a rat and always be a rat. I only hope I have avoided people from being scammed by this peace of shit.

No Matter who Harvey Walsh alias Henry Eldridge-Doyle alias James Steem really is, here some facts about my experience with his Day-Trading course. I
tryed to make money on the Stock exchange since 2-3 Years and i was never that successful. In Spring 2008 i was looking for day trading stuff all around the internet to learn THE System to increase my profitability. So i ended up with his course. I am always aware that someone has to spend time and especially money to get something out of anything. So i said to myself: try it. maybe thisone is the holy grail. To be honest, it isn’t because there is no holy grail for the stock markets.
BUT.
Harvey comes up with some simple but effective rules that really work. not every time. but if you begin to understand the market and how it moves you can use these rules to rise the risk reward ratio away from 50:50.
I don’t care who this guy really is, but it seems to me that he is a clever, independent business man. he may get money for new customers from any broker, he may be not the guy who wrote this course and he may make a lot of money with guys like me that wanna make money out of thin air with very less effort. I am not harvey walsh nor do i know him, his aliasses or his real identity. all i know is this: If you pay him those 140 bugs you really get a guide to get some money out of the stock markets. it is well written and easy to understand. but you have to have time to learn and practice it.
You did a good research about him, but if you would have spent the time you used for this to read and learn his course and TRY it in a serious tool(doesnt have to be tsim) you would have noticed that it is a great thing to lead you in the stock markets and make some money. or a lot of money if you get better.
To me he is a great young businessman who understands trends and the marketing that is nessesary to get something out of them. I wouldnt use my real name in the internet neither because it is dangerous. if the whole world can see your stuff you have, of couse, a lot of potential customers, but also a lot of potential opponents. and it is natural that he cannot use the same alias for trading stuff like for that tarot thing.
The guy we see in the videos is the same we hear in those day trading videos(harvey walsh), no question. i noticed that a few months ago. but i also noticed that he didn’t shit me with his course.
At the end of your well researched facts you wrote: “Again he tries to show you he just a normal guy like you.” What do you think he is?
what he does is not illegal nor is it a hoax.(at least the trading thing)
O.K. some facts at the end:
- If harvey walsh is henry eldridge-doyle is james steem. who cares?
- the daytradingfreedom course is well written and professional. and it really works.
- he uses multiple aliases in the internet. who doesn’t?
- you never read one single word of his daytrading course.
- I am not the person behind harvey walsh nor do i know that person.
- my english is horrible.

Interesting findings. I bought Harvey’s Heneries course, and it worked very well for me, as a matter of fact I can’t believe how well it works. I bought a subscription to esignal and paper traded it for 2 months exactly how Har/Hen instructed and had excellent results. So for me I could care less what other business he runs and what other names he uses. His course was the best investment I have ever made. I have a screen shot on my desktop from the first week or so. I will send it to you if you think I am lying

I bought this persons course about a year ago. Since then I have learned quite a bit more about daytrading and have become a proficient trader. I can give testimony that this guys course includes the very basics of trading. A person could figure his whole course out by spending a few days on the net researching daytrading. A few months after I bought his course and regularly watched his videos I came across one of the vids posted above. I was immediately able to recognize his voice. I launched a little investigation of my own.
Turns out this guy is not harvey walsh but henry doyle and james steen like it claims on this site (excellent research by the way). At first I was upset that harvey didn’t exist because I thought I had learned so much from him. Then I thought that it is well within this guys’ rights to disguise his voice and go by an alias.
In the back of my mind though I couldn’t forget the way I felt about being deceived by this guy. As innocent as it may seem, his dishonesty demonstrates a derogatory implication. I submit that where there is one lie there are a thousand lies. If not anything else, this man has rendered hollow his credibility by his conduct. It is my assessment that this man is a swindler who does not honor his word and preys upon the greed and ignorance of those who do not deserve his tomfoolery.
That being said, my only question is…
HOW CAN WE GET THIS FUCKING ASSHOLE BACK? Any suggestions? Lets show this fucking bastard that he can’t fuck with us like were intellectually incapable of retaliation.
One more thing, if I saw him in a bar I would wait outside until he left and beat the shit out of him while yelling, ” You too can be free, for just 1 easy payment of $180 you can trade your way to freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedooooooooooooooom.” As I indulge my final blow to his buck teeth with a winter glove on so I don’t catch whatever type of rat HIV this dickface has.

You can use the Interactive Plugin with Esignal ( shown in his videos) and be connected to your IB paper-trading account … these trades might not even be “real”. He only has to post a few of the successful ones to make it look good.

Its official. Doyles daytradingfreedom courses are now being sold 100% under afilliates. Hes now washed his dirty hands off the course and is allowing his little band of scammers to do his dirty work for him. Hes now gunning for numbers to make up his ailing profits now that hes been exposed! Im sure you will not see anymore new vidoes of him on youtube now.

STOP PRESS STOP PRESS… Ive found a course that is 1000 times better than Walshs course.. theyve been using it to make millions on wall street for years… ok ok, what is this course i hear you say? Its the teletubbies daytrading course. Its the business i tell ya.. right off the bat i made $5 and only lost $4.99 cents… soooo, minus commisions im.. oh hang on, ive made a slight miscalculation… oh shit im actually in the red not the green… ahhhh, damn course, im guna have to tweak it a bit i reckon.. oh well, i suppose i could do far worse with Walshs course.. after all, his course is based on krusty the clowns thoery of relativity.

I mailed walsh on his site many times and at first never got a reply. Then finaly he responded to my question whether he will post anymore vidoes. Apparently hes feels hes has enough videos on his site now to PROVE he is a successfull trader and says he will not make any more. Im sure he cant take the criticism now that we know hes using some voice changing technique and sim mode for his carefully edited WIN trades only. But, like the last video which came as a shocker to many with his so called friends, he may have a change of heart and try to pull off another video con.

i see doyles made ANOTHER video.. saying that the month of august is as quiet as a mouse as far as trading goes and he may not do much trading and therefore no video until september time. haha, but he had his usually $1000 plus day… if thats a bad day for a few hours work then im happy to have constant bad days..lol!!! one thing i did notice though.. he sounded a tad more humble!

I met Henry D maybe 5 years ago, I went to his house in Essex, he was helping me with a direct access broker. He understood concepts but couldn’t do what his videos showed. But he may have learned, he was an IT person though.
Last time I spoke to him he was moving to France, so I assume he is there. I thought the Harvey Walsh videos looked great and felt that if there was a way I could learn what he apparently did then it may be worthwhile. Unfortunately his course material can probably be found free on the net.
He didn’t seem like a scammer when I met him, but after looking at all this info, I cannot think that it is very good. Because of his IT skills, I am wondering whether the so called actual real time trading is some kind of recorded training program and not real time? I don’t know. All I know is that I could probably write a book containing enough patterns, analysis etc to sell and write it in less than a week. I can only say what I would do, but given all this info and the fact that the books don’t have a wonder solution but just information freely available, I wouldn’t waste my money. I would like to know whether he was making those trades. I think not maybe if he has to do all these other things to make money..

yes, im well aware who this chap is and knew he was from the essex/london area. He was involved in IT and started to dabble with internet marketing, finantial trading and recognised no matter how bad you are at it, if you put the two together you can make money! im sure he knows enough about the markets to explain them to others without a problem..but can he make money himself in the markets? maybe? can he make the sort of money that his videos show and are the recordings real? no.. there is too much evidence now to suggest that hes far less than ligit. hes a very foolish man to belive that he can pull off a stunt like this and everyone will just belive it. the evidence of his this is just overwhelming and people are seeing through it at last!

I come across those software programs but a bit of searching found them to be a scam. Then I came across this, and looked into the name and thats how I found this site. It just goes to show a few minutes or hours of Google search finds this. At least it saves a few people from wasting money and handing it to pricks like this.

Thanks so much for your investigation. I wasn’t going to buy his course. However his videos, being fake, were causing me problems as they do not give a realistic picture of how tough it is to guess which way a stock will head.
